Compact Bathroom Update

Strategic renovation of a tiny 3x5 guest bathroom that maximized every inch. Light colors, smart storage, and a wall-mounted vanity made the space feel significantly larger without moving any walls.

The Challenge

The bathroom was only 15 square feet with a bulky pedestal sink and dark, dated wallpaper. The client needed a functional guest bath on a modest budget without expanding the footprint.

Our Solution

We removed the wallpaper, repaired the plaster, and painted every surface in a light-reflective warm white. A wall-mounted vanity freed up floor space visually, while subway tile wainscoting added classic character. A large mirrored medicine cabinet amplified light and provided much-needed storage.

Results

The bathroom feels twice as large. Visitors consistently guess it's much bigger than it is. The total cost was under the client's budget, and the light paint colors have made the windowless space feel airy and clean.
