Chef-inspired kitchen renovation for a serious home cook, featuring a 6-burner range, custom range hood, pot-filler faucet, quartz countertops, and hand-painted cabinetry in a rich navy blue.
The client is a professional chef who needed restaurant-grade functionality in a residential kitchen. The existing space had builder-grade cabinets, laminate counters, and poor lighting that made cooking difficult and uninspiring.
We painted the existing solid-wood cabinets in a deep navy with brushed brass hardware, installed a professional 36-inch range with custom hood vented to the exterior, and added a full-height quartz backsplash for easy cleaning. Walls were painted in a warm white to balance the dark cabinets, and we installed recessed and pendant task lighting at three levels.
The client now hosts cooking classes in their home. The painted cabinets have proven extremely durable against grease and daily scrubbing. The overall look was featured in a local design blog.
